What we use
CleaningQA uses a small number of cookies and other browser storage technologies, such as local storage, session storage and IndexedDB. Not everything below is a traditional cookie, so the table shows what each item actually is.
Categories
- Strictly necessary — needed to provide something you asked for, such as staying signed in, saving checklist edits you made, completing a checkout or recording your privacy choice.
- Functional / preference — remembers small choices to make the product more comfortable to use.
- Analytics — optional. Only used if you choose “Allow analytics”.

Your choice
We do not create the analytics identifier or record where you came from unless you allow analytics. You can change your mind at any time — allowing and withdrawing take the same single click.
If you withdraw permission, we stop collecting optional analytics, remove the analytics identifier and attribution values from your browser and delete the acquisition records held against that identifier. Records we need to run your account — your organisation, inspections, corrective actions, reports and billing — are kept, because they are not optional analytics.
